Fixture Planning

Warned and Forearmed

When the competitive season hits full speed, it can be challenging to keep on top of fixtures and training schedules. Coaches may be involved with multiple teams, or a subset of their squad for a special purpose. Parents have to remember where each of their kids need to be, often needing to factor in travel time too.

How it works

  1. Training is typically fixed from week to week, unless weekend training is supplanted with a match. The easiest way to keep training on the schedule is use the DUPLICATE option with a new date.

  1. Competition fixture are added by Coach or Teacher as schedules are published.
  2. Adding the squad to the activity extends visibility to the parents.

Workload Scoring takes future events into consideration, with the predicted score presented on a future activity relative to the activity date.

Parents can preemptively indicate availability to activities before the requesting message is issued. Alternatively, the auto-responder will also be processed for future activities, helping the coach to know when a player is unavailable.

Any changes to the activity, including date, time and location, or cancellation, are automatically notified to all assigned players.

Integration with

Where the team competes in a competition organised using LeagueManager, fixtures automatically synchronise with your team's activities, and match tracking is automatically enabled, along with the opponent details.

LeagueManager also helps improve data privacy, removing the need to share teamsheets and sharing a pass/fail indicator on whether the team meets the competition requirements instead. For example, this avoids sharing dates of birth, but assures that all players meet the age requirements.
