Unique exercise and support opportunity for breast cancer survivors.
A supervised exercise programme to help with flexibility and strengthening combined with fun social activities?
Empower Her is an EU-funded project to support Breast Cancer survivors through a combination of a supervised individualised exercise programme, social participation events and mobile app. Each participant will be assessed and monitored by a trained facilitator, who will support them over 12 weeks from September to December 2026 in rebuilding their strength, confidence and becoming reacquainted with their body.
As partner to this innovative project, Surpass Sport Systems now invite registrations, with our pilot groups located in South Dublin, Fingal, Tipperary and Wexford.
Exercises will be tailored to each participants ability and are expected to take 20-30 minutes, scheduled for when suits and with reminders sent through the Empower Her Life mobile app, which is also used to capture feedback and activities for review by the facilitator.
The app also includes an exercise library and related resources specially selected for breast cancer survivors.

Participation Criteria
- Medically "post-treatment" - while recognising that medication, physiotherapy and / or treatment for lymphoedema are ongoing;
- Permitted to participate in strengthening exercises;
- Ideally aged between 35 - 65 years.
Data Privacy
Participant data is stored and processed on the secure SURPASSPORT platform, fully GDPR compliant and hosted on EU-Sovereign technical infrastructure.
Research approved and supervised by University of Valencia, Spain.
