Promoting life-long activity through European Healthy Lifestyle Actions

Surpass Sport Systems appointed as Coordinator for the €400,000 EU-funded EHLA: European Healthy Lifestyle Actions project, granted under the ERASMUS-SPORT-2024 programme.

The project has a focus on engagement with children and youths through schools and community organisations, to reinforce the benefits and enjoyment of being active, with the aim of establishing a positive habit of participating in sport and physical activity.

The initial phase of the project aims to build a catalog of best practices from partner countries, to develop a framework for sharing programmes and initiatives building into a body of knowledge (BOK) available to all municipal an independent organisations involved in participation activation, across all regions.

The second phase will pilot a number of these measures by partners to cross-polinate expertise, capture participant feedback and understand transferrability of different initiatives.

The project includes the delivery of a mobile app and event management solution, allowing parents to become actively involved in their child's activity programme and beyond.

As a collaborative project, the team are always open to learning from organisations with experience of planning and operating activation programmes.
